Charlotte Morris

Charlotte M. Morris, 74, of 3115B Colonial Way, Chamblee, Ga., formerly of Pittsfield, died Nov. 16 at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Ga., of cancer.
Born in Pittsfield on Dec. 26, 1926, daughter of Paul and Ida Rosen Leidhold, she was a 1944 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Shortly after graduation, Mrs. Morris was recruited by the Civil Service and went to work in Washington, D.C., living at Arlington Farms in Arlington, Va. She transferred in 1948 to Tokyo, where she worked for four years.
She leaves three daughters, Deborah Berry of Columbia, S.C., Ann Sewell of Waitkinsville, Ga., and Barbara Tsiklistas of Athens, Ga.; a son, Charles Morris of Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Bertha L. "Betty" Quadrozzi of Pittsfield, and nine grandchildren.
A service of remembrance was held at the Briarcliff United Methodist Church in Atlanta on Nov. 19, 2001. Mrs. Morris also leaves two aunts, Bertha Burns of Pittsfield and Rachel Lehmann of Atlanta; three nieces, Cheryl Harper of Middlefield, and Diane Valenti and Linda Harrison of Pittsfield; a nephew, Gary Quadrozzi of West Stockbridge; four grand-nieces, Melanie Harper of Worthington, Sarah and Liza Valenti of Pittsfield, and Samantha Harrison of Pittsfield, and two grand-nephews, Jay Harper of Middlefield and Zachary Valenti of Pittsfield.
