Richard Baldwin

Richard Baldwin, 36, of Hyde Hill Road, Williamsburg, died Monday at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was the fiancé of Nancy Zabarsky of Pittsfield.
Born in Northampton on March 31, 1965, son of Charles "Corky" and Donna Bickford Baldwin, he was a 1983 graduate of Hampshire Regional High School. He did postgraduate work in the machine shop at Smith Vocational and Agricultural School in Northampton.
Diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, he received a double lung transplant in 1994.
Mr. Baldwin was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Haydenville.
Besides his parents of Williamsburg and his fiancé, he leaves a brother, Mark Baldwin of Williamsburg.
The funeral will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. from CHILDS FUNERAL HOME in Haydenville with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Thursday, today, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
