Eleanor L. Baroli

Eleanor L. Baroli, 79, of 39 Lowden St. died Tuesday at home.
Born in Brattleboro, Vt., on Dec. 26, 1921, daughter of Frank W. and Della M. Ingram Pratt, she attended schools there and was a 1939 graduate of Brattleboro High School. After high school, she moved to Pittsfield to live with her sister, the late Mildred St. John.
She was first employed by General Electric Co. prior to her marriage. She later became employed by Berkshire Medical Center for 16 years in the IV therapy unit, retiring in 1986 after 30 years of service.
Her husband, Paul A. Baroli, whom she married Sept. 20, 1941, died April 10, 1991.
She leaves two daughters, Joanne M. Lahey of Richmond and Pauline L. Janis of Pittsfield; a son, Joseph P. Baroli of Cheshire, Conn.; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Ellen J. Randolph, who died Sept. 9, 1994. She is predeceased by her six sisters, Gladys Barrett, Blanche Conklin, Cora Carey, Marion Hall, Mildred St. John and Dorothy Pratt; her four brothers, Leslie Burch, Roland Pratt, George Pratt and George Burch.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Pittsfield Cemetery, with the Rev. Cory Loder, pastor of Pilgrim Memorial Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires, or the American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.
