Eleanor K. Mixer, 77, of 95 Pleasant St. died Sunday at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
Born in Sheffield on Aug. 3, 1924, daughter of Kenneth S. and Veronica Miller Kellogg, she was a 1942 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Mixer was employed by General Electric Co. in the payroll department prior to her marriage.
Her husband, George W. Mixer Jr., whom she married July 26, 1947, died March 29, 1992.
She leaves a daughter, Pamela A. Poirier of Cheshire; a son, David P. Mixer of East Greenwich, R.I.; two brothers, Kenneth Kellogg of Pittsfield and William Kellogg of Ocala, Fla., and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be Friday at 10 from BARTLETT-WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME in Dalton, with the Rev. John Smith, pastor of the Dalton United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Ashuelot Cemetery in Dalton. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 4 to 7. If friends desire, donations are suggested to either the Dalton Ambulance Fund or the Dalton CRA in care of the funeral home, 525 Main St., Dalton, MA 01226.
