Charlotte A. Fruet, 82, of Dean Hill Road died Saturday at Cameron House in Lenox.
Born in West Stockbridge on Feb. 25, 1919, daughter of Joseph and Emma Nadler Meneghini, she was a graduate of the former Richmond Furnace District School.
A homemaker, Mrs. Fruet worked at the former Wendell Hotel and at the former Busy Bee Restaurant, both in Pittsfield.
She enjoyed dancing and preserving the vegetables that her husband grew in his extensive gardens.
Her husband, Adolfo R. Fruet, whom she married Oct. 23, 1937, at St. Patrick's Church in West Stockbridge, died in 1997.
She leaves several nieces and nephews.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated tomorrow, Nov. 13, at 10 at St. Patrick's Church in West Stockbridge. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
