Elizabeth Theresa Burns, 73, of Hemet, Calif., formerly of Pittsfield, died Sunday at Ramona Manor in Hemet.
Born in Pittsfield on March 4, 1928, daughter of William P. and Lillian Ann Blowe Burns, she attended local schools, including Pittsfield High School.
She was employed as a caregiver for the elderly in Hemet for 50 years.
She leaves two sisters, Marilyn Barry of Hemet and Dorothy Helliwell of Pittsfield. Elizabeth Burns is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be today at 9 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Hemet. Burial will be in San Jacinto Valley Cemetery, 2555 S. Santa Fe St., San Jacinto, Calif. MILLER-JONES MORTUARY INC. in Hemet is in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Hemet Hospice Inc., 890 West Stetson, Suite B, Hemet, CA 92543.
