PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Paul E. Valenti, 64, of 23 Tennyson Ave., Pittsfield, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017, at his home. 

He was born in Pittsfield on August 13, 1952, a son of the late Ernest A. and Theresa M. (Ariazi) Valenti. Paul attended Pittsfield Schools and graduated from Taconic High School in 1971. He was last employed at the A.H. Rice Silk Mill in Pittsfield and was a communicant of the former All Soul’s Church. 

Survivors include four cousins, Stephen E. Pia of Pittsfield, David Ariazi of North Adams, Jeanne Talley of Tennessee and Mark Ariazi of Florida.

Funeral notice: Services will take place Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at 10 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Bencivenga Funeral Home, 5 Elm St., Pittsfield, MA 01201 with the Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker C.S.S. officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
