DALTON, Mass. — Robert "Rob" E, Pearson, 19, of 27 John St. died Friday, October 7, 2016, as a result of a car accident.



He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on March 2, 1997, son of Lance and Michelle Ballard Pearson. He attended schools in Dalton and was a graduate of McCann Tech in North Adams.



He was a member associate at BJ's, belonged to Hope Church in Lenox and was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout. He was active in Dalton baseball Babe Ruth and Galusha leagues.



Besides his parents, Lance and Michelle of Dalton, he leaves a brother, Andrew Pearson of Dalton; his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Marilyn Ballard of Bridgewater, Mass.; his paternal grandmother, Barbara Pearson of Peabody, Mass.; two aunts, Denise DiCienzo and her husband Joseph of Bridgewater, Mass., and Nancy Howland and her husband Thomas of Georgetown, Mass.; along with many loving cousins.



Funeral Notice: Funeral services for Robert E. Pearson, who died Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, will be held Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Hope Church in Lenox, with Pastor Doug Foss officiating. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be at Dery-Foley Funeral Home in Dalton on Tuesday, Oct. 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hope Church in care of the funeral home 890 Main St Dalton.
