PITTSFIELD -- Louis Joseph Cimini, 71, of 35 South Virginia Ave., Atlantic City, N.J., formerly of Pittsfield, died Wednesday at Atlantic City Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on July 12, 1930, son of Loreto and Mary Metallo Cimini, he attended local schools and graduated from Pittsfield High School. He had resided in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., for 20 years and then in New Jersey for 25 years.
Mr. Cimini was last employed as a maintenance man at a hospital in Wilkes-Barre.
While in Pittsfield, he was a communicant of Mount Carmel Church and a member of the Italian-American Club.
He leaves two sisters, Rosemary DiFilippo and Pauline Cimini, both of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Memorial Mass for Louis J. Cimini, 71, will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church by the Rev. Geoffrey Deeker, CSS, pastor. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Centennial Organ Fund, the American Cancer Society, The Jimmy Fund or UNICO of Pittsfield, all in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, which is handling arrangements.
