DALTON -- Winifred Glidden, 75, of 293 High St. died Wednesday at the Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility.
Born in Hinsdale on Jan. 9, 1926, daughter of Lester and Harriet Caulkins Hopkins, she attended schools there. She moved to Dalton 28 years ago.
A homemaker, Mrs. Glidden was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lanesboro.
She leaves her husband, Kenneth W. Glidden, whom she married April 22, 1973, at home in Dalton.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- There will be no calling hours. A memorial service for Mrs. Winifred Glidden will be held Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Cheshire Road, Lanesboro, with Pastor Gary Wagner officiating. Following cremation, a graveside service will be held in Ashuelot Cemetery, Dalton, on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m. with Wagner officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Mrs. Glidden's memory. BARTLETT-WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 525 Main St., Dalton, is in charge of arrangements.
