Elta N. Seguin, 77, of Route 2, Shelburne Falls, formerly of Pittsfield, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Pauline McNay of Shelburne Falls.
Born in Miami on June 1, 1924, daughter of Percy E. and Annie P. Robertson Adams, she resided in Pittsfield before moving to Shelburne Falls in 1995.
Her husband, Armand J. Seguin, whom she married Dec. 9, 1942, in Florida, died in July 1974.
Besides her daughter, she leaves two sons, Ernest Seguin of Shelburne Falls and Paul Seguin of Plainville, Conn.; three brothers, Delbert Adams of Lake Placid, Fla., George Adams of Tavares, Fla., and Charles Adams of Apoka, Fla.; a sister, Arlene Crocroft of Simi, Calif.; three grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.
The funeral will be Friday at 11 at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Pittsfield. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Shelburne Falls Senior Center, Main Street, Shelburne Falls, MA 01370, or to the Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice of Western New England, 164 High St., Greenfield, MA 01301. JOHNSON FUNERAL HOME in Shelburne Falls is in charge of arrangements.
