Thomas Everett O'Malley Jr., 57, of Coconut Creek, Fla., formerly of Pittsfield, died Thursday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Born in Pittsfield on Nov. 22, 1943, son of Thomas E. O'Malley Sr. of Gorton, Conn., and Rosalie Shelley of Coconut Creek, Fla., he attended local schools.
He served in the Marines.
He retired as a maintenance supervisor at GE in Pittsfield after 22 years and moved to Florida in 1985.
He enjoyed fishing.
Besides his parents, he leaves a son, Thomas C. O'Malley of Boca Raton, Fla.; a daughter, Tiffeney O'Malley of Boca Raton, Fla.; two sisters, Rosalie Nardin of Lenox and Donna Carlsen of Mount Home, Ark.; two brothers, Charles O'Malley of Lakeland, Fla. and Donald O'Malley of Palmer, Alaska; and a grandson.
