New Marlborough to Celebrate Elihu Burritt Day

Mount Everett Artists Featured in Exhibit

W.E.B. Du Bois Sculpture Project Selects Artist

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — The W.E.B. Du Bois Sculpture Project has selected artist Richard Blake to create a monument to W.E.B. Du Bois that will be placed in front of the town's Mason Public Library.   Blake was one of three finalists who presented models of their proposed statues to the Sculpture Project jury. Tenth Year of Berkshire Pottery Tour

State Officials Promote Act for Accessible Creative Economy

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — Local lawmakers and the cultural leaders on Friday called for the inclusion of people of all abilities in the creative economy.

The proposed Accessibility in the Creative Economy Act would would provide grants to organizations focused on arts, culture, humanities, and interpretive sciences that remove barriers for people with disabilities.
